When you become a member of the Huntington County Humane Society, you are helping to provide homeless animals with food, medical care, medical procedures, vaccinations, compassion, enrichment, and shelter while we search for their permanent homes.

Did you know that we care for over 1,500 homeless pets each year?

We rely heavily on the limited revenue generated by our programs and fees, and on the tremendous generosity of our community.

The majority of the animals at our shelter are cats and dogs, but we also provide temporary care and coordinate safety services for farm animals and other small pets brought in as a result of animal control investigations of cruelty and neglect.
